The company was formed in 2018 to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the economic transformation in the South African Petroleum and Liquid Fuels Industry. AF² GES sees an opportunity in acquiring a market-share of the Liquid Fuels Sector as identified in the White Paper on Energy, which outlined the government’s key policy objective to achieve “sustainable presence, ownership or control by historically disadvantaged South Africans of approximately a quarter of all facets of the Liquid Fuels Industry, or plans to achieve this”.
Furthermore, AF² GES comprises of formidable black leadership with competencies, experience and knowledge to provide professional services to the petrochemical industry in terms of compliance auditing of Major Hazardous Installations including the ancillary functions such as sale, transport and maritime requirements.
